Great stuff man! I still havent found the perfect position to bench from personally. I experiment from time to time. Always good to work on that as it can make such a huge difference to your numbers in the long run.

Squeeze butt hard and have a deathgrip on the bar, which helps to retain tightness. With that said, it is fidfficult to retain 100% tightness when no spotter is available. You will lose some without. Getting tight is one thing, retaining tightness is another. It takes a while to figure it out for sure, but persistence will pay off. You know you have lost tightness when your ROM has increased an inch or more, which is huge. The Crew always kept an eye on my lats and they could spot an issue right away. They also said I shook alot less when tight haha.It is more difficult to spot issues on vids tho.

And of course you know your on the right track when your as uncomfortable as hell and your back has worse DOMS than your chest and tri's.
Thanks Super Jim! If I bring my feet way back I can't get wide, just can't spread my legs like that. Had decent tightness, and I know what you mean about back DOMS, my back always gets more wrecked than my chest, lol!

Not sure either one made much of a difference on arch or ROM, but seemed with my feet back much more and on my toes I felt some leg drive. Guess I'll wait for some opinions !

Done! 15 minutes. I had No sleep last night and wasn't even going to attempt to lift. My kids still got a cold and was up all night, so I was up to. Managed a 45 minute nap and decided I'd at least get a little work in and figured it'd be a good day to mess with my set up. After my nap my head was crap, but since I wasn't planning on getting much accomplished I figured screw it!

Good to see you experimenting and pushing so hard Jay. You'll surely have be ready for this next meet. Somehow I can picture you with your boy, wagon and dog in tow.

Was wondering where your log went to Hunter, Nice work so far If you dont like cardio where you're with your son and dog you'd never survive doing it on treadmill

Thanks ODHL! It's not that I don't always enjoy any time with my son, just it was hot, sunny, and my head was jacked! So that made it suck !

Still trying to find my perfect setup too Jay. Need to make sure whatever fed you are lifting in allows toes on bench. Some require feet flat on the floor.
