Default 2013 IPA Strength Spectacular Powerlifting & Bench Press Championships

My Dad had a stroke last month and today my mom told me that she has breast cancer on early stages. Well...My Juggernaut HP log is over and I decided to start this new log. IPA is going to have an excellent meet on June 23 at the York Barbell Company. Now what? I decided to push my training more than ever and dedicate those numbers to my parents. I have a goal, I'm hungry and one purpose in mind. Bigger, faster and stronger for my fellows...

Day 1

Ran 20 minutes follow by upper body stretch

Warm up

1 x bar x 10

1 x 135 x 5

1 x 225 x 3

2 x 275 x 10

1 x 275 x 6

2 x 265 x 10

2 x 260 x 10

1 x 255 x 10

2 x 250 x 10

This routine was very close to the one on Feb 16 before my last meet. Hopefully this is a good indication of new numbers.

Barbell row

3 x 225 x 10

Hit the sauna for 15 minutes, stretch and feel very good. Tomorrow I will be running and swimming. The week is going to be a long week without lower-body day. I may do some legs extension and curls but nothing heavy.

Today Friday was a super easy day. Did my 2 miles run and then swim a little bit to relax my muscles. I going to be running again tomorrow for time (2 miles) and then hit the gym for some lite legs work out. Nothing big. I have one more week to go before the PT TEST and then the game is ON!!!

Lying curl 4 x 60 x 20

50 Lbs DB Lunges

3 x 10
