I like those alternating presses and deadlifts. Eight sets of deads, whew.

I hear where you're coming from on the curls. I'm not doing any direct bicep work at the moment, but when I do, my usual routine is sets of 3-6 with a fair bit of cheating. I don't know anyone else who trains biceps like this, but it's because I like the relatively high weights.

Yeah Im not sure what to do... the 3 set progression just seems to be stalling out... I get where Mike is coming from in reducing chance of tearing a bicep etc.

not sure what to do. guess ill find out tomorrow.

Hey guys -

Lots of stuff going on in the world of Gorship - has me distracted and getting me stressed out -> lethargic and such. anyway. Here was my last two work outs - I was supposed to workout today but missed it (so frustrated with myself)

Barbell Full Squat

Set 1 : 195.0x3
Set 2 : 195.0x3
Set 3 : 195.0x2
Set 4 : 195.0x2
Set 5 : 195.0x2

Barbell Bench Press

Set 1 : 185.0x3
Set 2 : 185.0x3
Set 3 : 185.0x2
Set 4 : 185.0x2
Set 5 : 185.0x2

Barbell Full Squat

Set 1 : 145.0x8
Set 2 : 145.0x7
Set 3 : 145.0x7

Barbell Bench Press

Set 1 : 155.0x8
Set 2 : 155.0x8
Set 3 : 155.0x8

Barbell Deadlift

Set 1 : 290.0x3
Set 2 : 290.0x3
Set 3 : 290.0x3
Set 4 : 290.0x3
Set 5 : 290.0x3

Barbell Shoulder Press

Set 1 : 145.0x2
Set 2 : 145.0x2
Set 3 : 145.0x2
Set 4 : 145.0x2
Set 5 : 145.0x2

Barbell Deadlift

Set 1 : 240.0x7
Set 2 : 240.0x7
Set 3 : 240.0x6

Barbell Shoulder Press

Set 1 : 110.0x8
Set 2 : 110.0x7
Set 3 : 110.0x5

Shoulders are having a tough time, I may "re-ramp" as I call it, drop by 5 lbs and reset the reps, also for the deadlift and OHP press day im going to add an extra set of reps to the strength portion (the original hepburn method has 8 and im only using 5 of it - the plan has always been to add a step of reps if needed to help promote growth) with my DL now at 300 lbs its time to add that extra rep on there which also added to the OHP should help with the ramping so. here goes.

Missed my squat and bench today which sucks but, deadlifts tomorrow should help clear my head and get me back in gear (especially hitting 300 finally I'm quite excited for that)
