Bench training went very well on Saturday- We have put together a plan to hit 600 in March and if I hit on all reps we go up 10 lbs the next week.
140x6
230x6
280x3
300x3
360x1-slinger
410x1-slinger

480x2
510x1
530x1
550x1
375x3-slinger
385x2-slinger
410x1-slinger
Everything went well so we are planning to workup to 560 and I took my shirt in today for a repair and we took both arms in a bit. Should be interesting to see if how much that affects my ability to touch.

Working on the lockout on Tuesday nights and we fried them last night. All this work was done off a 3 board close grip
140x5 full range
3 Board
230x5
280x5
300x5
320x5
340x5
360x3 missed the last 2 reps

Finshed with two triceps of death sets starting with a 1 board for 5 reps going all the way up to a 6 board and you do 5 reps on each board. You can stop for a short 10 second rest but you cannot get off the bench until you are completed. My first set with 230lbs I stopped once, second set was 200lbs I had to stop 3 times as my arms were completely numb. Here is a video of a similar workout. It will kill your tris!!

Relentless bench training on Saturday went very well. Everyone was killing the weights and the vibe was awesome. After last week I had to have my shirt repaired and we took in the arms an 1/8" on each side. I could definitely tell is was tighter and it took me until about 490lb to touch but it felt good. We got all my planned work in and then some.
140x6
230x6
290x3
320x3
370x1 slinger
420x1 slinger-1st attempt went crazy-came back and got the 2nd one
Shirt
440x3
490x2
520x1
540x1
560x1
580x1-did not lock it out-this wasn't planned but the weights were feeling good. Very colse as you can see by the video. Looking forward to a great week of training!

How often are you deadlifting above 90%?

Thanks KD! We will work until we do!

BTB-I did two weeks in a row to feel out the sumo style, stance etc. I thought tomorrow I would stay lighter (405-455) and introduce bands. I have no arm pain with sumo as I did conv so I may stick with it. Finishing with heavy DB rows and lat pull downs for some more back work to help the benching. Sat is the HopeKids kick off so we have some huge lifters coming to the gym beforehand. Looking forward to getting some tips on the shirt benching.

Thoughts or advice on tomorrow's DL workout?

Lockout work last with 5 board went well last night. Worked up to 455x5 with a slingshot to help with over load. Finished with skulls 115x8x3 laying flat on the bench.

I will be rotating every other week squats and DL so today was squats.
145x8
235x8
285x5
325x5
415x2
465x1- Felt good and may have beat my 505lb PR today but no back spotter so this where I stopped.
325x3x3

Also threw in some one armed rows, hammer curls, and lat pull downs. Big bench day on Saturday so I have 2 rest days.

Please take a look at my donation page for Relentless. The money goes to HopeKids which you can learn more about below. Any amount would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
