Default Quest to compete in mens physique/natural bodybuilding

So the journey begins.....

Hey guys. So I'm new the the forum... But thought I'd start a journal documenting my training/diet, culminating in me doing a mens physique show perhaps early next year and also a natural bodybuilding one after that.

Stats
Height: 6"1
Weight: 80kg
Bodyfat: Guessing around 7-8%; very vascular with lower abs showing.

Training style
My training style is quite unique. Rather than pertain to a certain rep range I just go to failure on most sets and incorporate a drop or double drop set on my final and heaviest set. I pyramid up in weight and then drop it after the final set. I like a lot of volume and train pretty fast and furiously (forgive the pun!), similar to a Branch Warren style, obviously with less weight.

Diet
My diet consists of a lot of high protein sources at regular intervals, primarily chicken.... I do like the odd steak though! I don't count calories per se, but ensure I'm getting quality food @ every 3 hours... I do like cheat meals/junk food as well. I train naturally and use few supplements... A whey protein, sometimes pre-workout, multivitamin, green tea and Omega 3. I stick to the fundamentals... I believe that if you are fuelling your body with high protein and training very hard you can make unbelievable gains without fancy supplements.

Goals
As mentioned in the title, my aim is to compete in natural bodybuilding and mens physique.

Areas of improvement
Legs/chest/calves

Overall, I hope I can give you a good insight into my daily training protocol and that my journey to the stage is an interesting and exciting journey.
