MY ADIPOWERS CAME IN TODAY - so stoked! They fit perfectly. I definitely feel more secure at full squat depth with them. They did not magically increase my snatch numbers though...lol!

STRENGTH: 6 singles (okay I did like 8 or so) working up to a "heavy" snatch. I'm getting under the bar a little bit more, but not enough. So annoying!
35lbs x 1, 35 lbs x 1, 55 lbs x 1, 55 lbs x 1, 65 lbs x 1, 65lbs x 1 AND HERE is where I start muscling the bar up, because my stupid brain keeps getting in the way...75 lbs x 1, 75lbs x 1, 80 lbs x 0(fail) 80 lbs x 1, 80lbs x 1...grr.

I'm still muscling these up 100%, receiving the bar at full straight standing, then doing an OHS at the end to remind myself that I can do it. Hoping that one of these days I can shut my mind off and actually get under the bar as it's going up so I can move some real weight. My fails are easily coming up over my head, so I just have to get under the gosh darn it to heck bar.

METCON (aka: hell on earth...srs): today really killed me. Not sure if it's because of the air quality alert we are under or if it's the wine I drank last night (lol, I'm on staycation it's okay).

for frickin' time. 11:58. I sucked but ballers have no concept of time, I say

I'm way under calories for today and I'm too lazy to cook. Not gonna help me reach my goals...but I can even out tomorrow. I have some grass fed short ribs that I'm going to slow cook and eat ALL OF THE THINGS tomorrow!!!

METCON = metabolic conditioning = cardio = hell on earth!

Edit: so for this one I did 30 wallballs (squat then throw a 14lb med ball to a line, receive and repeat), 30 kb swings then immediately did 20 wallballs, 20kb swings and so on and so forth until I had to row 1000 M with the clock ticking away telling me I was a loser...no strike that baller... no concept of time...lololololol
