I agree with Al - your well on your way to greatness Dave.
It's what all the top lifters in the world do, that's for sure.

God, you two are too much. One day that would be awesome to even be considered "good."

FWIW, I think your more than "good". I know it's all relative. However, I just get that feeling watching your vids. Your passion and heart are second to none. Those really are the 2 most important ingredients. The numbers will fall where they may, but I am betting on big ones.

It definitely is all relative. When I say I'm not good, I really hope I don't offend anyone who doesn't have my numbers. It's all relative, and competing at World's just proved that even more.
Thanks, dude, I agree. Passion to keep going, especially. It takes so much time to get good.

I'm actually thinking about not doing it and doing the Arnold instead but we'll see! I do kind of want to go to khazakstan, and not like the team fills, so i wouldnt really have to WIN the open...just not shit the bed.

AM Session

Squat

140 kg x 3 x 2 sets (beltless)

160 kg x 2 x 5 sets

Front squats

85 kg x 4 x 5 sets

God I suck at front squats. Getting those improved will certainly help my actual squat. Bench this afternoon for a PM session.

I think most of us need to work more on fronts. I rarely see any of the crew guys doing them tho.

This far out from a meet, training front squats will be as beneficial for me as training back squats. Once it gets closer, my down sets will definitely be back squats, but until then, front squat improvement can only help my upper back, core and quads. Probably can't hurt my positioning for back squats, either.
