Works great to blast the upper back/traps.

Cube Kingpin Training Week 5

Explosive TB Deads
255x6x2

Block Pulls
275x2x5

Deficit Pulls
275x6 (brain fart moment)
235x2x6

Meadows Row
85x4x15

TB Shrugs
235x3x10

BW Pull-ups
21 total reps

TB Walks
235x3x40yards

DONE

Three days in a row of lifting! I am pooped. Ready for a day off.

Lower back is a little tight but not bad. Couple of stretches and I will be fine.

Brain fart moment on the deficits. Forgot to strip the weight down. Wondered why I was gassed after that first set. I hate deficits by the way. Every now and then they aggravate my lower back. My next go-around with the Cube Kingpin might not include deficits. Just have to wait and see.

Smart move to rethink the deficits - not sure if its a good idea to do a "specialty" move so soon after being able to pull at all. Re-injury is the worst and I am sure the #1 reason many guys give up on training.

I know how tough 3 days in a row is now as I just did that too lol.

Nice work overall DZ!

Fantastic trap bar work. Heavy deficits are good but volume elsewhere needs to be low.
