Outstanding work and result DZ!! +15lb PR in a month is pretty big. I wouldn't be too bummed about the no show/no liftoff. You know you have the strength so, as you say, apply it to the training and show it off on the next round of maxes

Just the great powerlifter in you to be pissed about not having a liftoff, especially when it was expected. However, nice job directing your anger towards a big new PR anyway. Indeed, 15 lbs is a huge accomplishment to be very proud of. 3PPS is now in range in 2014!

This is my new 5/3/1 training. I am going to do the Rest/Pause version for awhile to see if I gain even more. I will also be incorporating the Slingshot on bench days after the Rest/Pause set. I will try it that way for awhile. If its too much I will drop it.

I have acquired a Trap Bar that I will be using for RDL's until I can do Deadlifts again.
I have replaced Deadlifts for Rack Pulls until I'm able to Deadlift again. Hopefully this is only temporary. Looking for some big gains.
