Um. I misread the routine.

Was meant to do the Strength mode for back yesterday, not Density. Well, I have the "density" down, fer sher, lol. Just not like I might've hoped, kinda thing.

The good thing about this situation is that it shouldn't actually matter too much. No percentages to worry about, no 4-week (or longer) cycles, etc. This makes me happy.

Density training for shoulders and biceps tomorrow, then. Strength training for Legs on Friday.

Sorted, more or less.

Week 1 Day 3 - Da Boulders 'n Da Brahcepts

Seated BtN Press (w/o back support): 50kg/110lb x 10,5,3 rest pause; 45kg/99lb x 6,6,4,5 rest pause (39/30) *

Upright Row: 40kg/88lb x 12,7,5,5,5,7,7 rest pause (48/30) **

Barbell Curl: 40kg/88lb x 14,6,3,4,5,5,7 rest pause (44/30)


* No way to set up a Seated BtN Press with back support today, so I did it without. I might instead choose standing strict press from next time onwards - I like that lift a lot anyway. 50kg/110lb felt like way too much as of the third "set", so I dropped the weight a bit, but maybe 47.5kg/104.5lb would have been a better choice.

** Upright rows feel odd. Not sure I like them all that much. So as of next time, I'll choose the other lift from the menu (i.e., Arnold Press).


The humble BB curl was murder, after the rest of that stuff. But overall, a decent session, I think. Squats (etc.) in Strength mode tomorrow.

Good work Dray. I think I did my BTNs without back support for a couple years before I realized I could do them a different way.
