Great topic. Karwoski's 1003 at 1995 Senior Nationals. As far a training lifts, his 1000x2 training for that meet.

Benni's powerlifting deadlift record (not his recent strongman record). Is there anyone even close to beating that? There are guys creeping up on Malanichev's squat, Spoto beat the bench record, but is anyone anywhere near beating Benni's record? Benni isn't even close to beating Benni's record!

I can't not post this. I still stick with Benni's, but for things of pure beauty, I'm giving it to Idalberto Aranda (ya, ya, he's not a powerlifter):

For powerlifts, there are just so many great examples to choose from. Malanichev would be high on the list though.

As far as Olympic lifting, Salimi's 471 pound WR snatch is the craziest thing that I have ever seen. I cant imagine someone being that strong.
