Default Great Elliot Hulse video I stumbled on..

One of those times where YouTube's recommendations is worth it..

Shits getting crazy.. some of my friends are doing over 10 exercises per session, with 3-5 sets of 8-15 reps..

I don't know if I'm lazy but all I know is I don't hardly have enough energy after 10 sets or so.

After 10 sets you should be done with your heavy compound movements for the day and should be toast.

And he's right, if the intensity is there, you shouldn't need to kill it with volume. You can certainly build volume over time if the intensity is there.
