The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

Thursday 4-18-13
Week 1, Day 4

1. My NEW BAR arrived today...SOOOOOO much better than my used Sports Authority bar...no play in it.......super aggressive knurl....actually weight 45 lbs instead of 35lbs.....SWEET!!!!

2. Now I know this is all relative, but it has been a while since I lifted, and felt strong, but tonight I felt strong....beat my previous shrug working weight by 60 pounds, which killed WO partner (and his HUGE TRAPS) by 30.......first time on low rack pulls, out-lifted the WO partner by 30lbs again.....even he commented he couldn't keep up with me!!

Low Pulls:
135 x 8
205 x 8
255 x 8
275 x 6
275 x 6
275 x 4
275 x 4

Shrugs:
185 x 10
205 x 10
225 x 10
235 x 10
235 x 10

Yates Rows:
115 x 8
115 x 8
115 x 8
115 x 8

I was spent at the end of this workout!!
Great Feeling!!

Been reading some Anthony Ditillo...had be in the mood for some HEAVY lifting tonight...and it showed!

Week 2 starts Sunday!! CANT WAIT!!
