Its working out. Ive just not been sleeping and staying up on getting enough food in. Ill be good to go now. I have pretty much everything planned out, just got to get some rest.

Didnt train this weekend. Was out of town and with Easter just couldnt make time

Deadlift night
Me night, raw conventional work.

Pulls standing on 100lb plates
warm ups
135*3*3
225*2*2
315*1
405*1
add belt
495*1
585*1
615*1>30lb pr be it I havent done this in over a year

pause pulls against bands, still standing on the 100's
225*3*3. pull to the knee stop, hold then fire my back through

dbell rows
3 sets with the 130s

lat pulls
3 sets

face pulls
2 sets to failure


Good day. Next week its another week of 3x3 in just briefs. Then the following week will be the last conventional me work and I will start getting back in the suit and pulling sumo.

Strong pulls. I may throw in some of those pause deadlifts soon, I like the idea of working from my sticking point but under tension rather than in a rack.

I really liked them. It makes me really focus on staying tight and firing my glutes, lats and and lower back really hard from that point.

I hope so. I really feel my lower back is much stronger

Today will start a new program for me. Im not big on doing new stuff this close to a meet but Ive been lucky enough to win a free program from Brian Carroll and he has offered to coach me going into seniors. Im really looking forward to this and his feedback. Ive known Brian for a few years via the internet and hes a really nice guy and one of the better lifters of our time. Plus its going to be nice to just lift and not have to do all the thinking like I normally do.
