Will do. I still had a good day that day. Most didnt think I could get a squat in becuase I have had some depth issues. Im starting to get excited for this meet. Just hope life will slow down a little so I can focus in on it.

For the most part I believe people should train how they are going to compete.
Depth, lock out, everything.

Now, having said that, I see people all of the time (including one in our gym) who are "meet lifters". They can can have the worst training cycle ever, go to the meet, and just be on fire! Shock themselves and their training partners

Im the opposite. I have great cycles then loose it at the meet.

Me bench night. Just trying to get more solid work in.

Incline presses
bar*5*2
135*5*2
225*3*2
315*3*2
365*3*2
405*1
All were pretty easy except the 405. I worked a little for it. I did all of these with no handoff.

2 board bench
405*6> really odd after doing inclines. Just wanted to feel a few reps here

dbell presses
70's*12*3

triceps
3 sets to failure

dbell biceps curls
3 sets

Solid day. Strength is coming back and stress is just about gone.

My best is 405 for two after a few sets of doubles but that was with a handoff and not near as many sets. I did allot more work tonight. Im trying some no handoff stuff here and there to work on pulling the bar out with my lats.

Take care of those shoulders!
The strongest lifter isn't always the winner. Sometimes the guy who wins is the guy who shows up rested and with the least amount of injuries.
