Default Creatine and cholesterol

So, I had a wellness exam at work today to get a discount on my health insurance. A joke as usual, of course BMI is a main factor they look at haha.

Anyway, they did bloodwork and everything was great. Only issue they mentioned was my HDL was low.

The physician assistant there asked me if I take creatine. She advised that creatine has been linked to lowering HDL and I should stop taking it.

I did a quick google search and find creatine linked to overall lower cholesterol but nothing with just HDL

Has anyone heard this?
