Default Running and muslce building

I do allot of running. Some long distance, but mostly I'm a sprinter.
I love it, and wouldn't want to scarifies it to get bigger and stronger, but I was wondering would it hinder my ability to build muscle and get strong?
Be maybe half an hour.

A half hour of running a couple of days a week is good. Just make sure not to get too carried away with it or it will interfere with your muscle gains.

Running shouldn't stop you from gaining muscle as long as you replace the calories you burn by running.

Keep in mind your knees, excess running may affect your knees.

Sprints are awesome for building strength. Long distance running can keep you from gaining as much muscle as possible, but if you eat more to make up for the calories you burn and, as mentioned, only do it a couple times a week, you'll be fine.

I hate running, but if you like it don't feel like you're being forced to stop it.

Thanks for that guys.
As I said, I do more sprinting than long distances stuff, so I should be ok.
I heard hill sprints were good for strength.
I wanted to have at least some cardio element to my regime.

Do what you love. If you like to run, you should do it. Just eat more to make up for it and you'll end up being healthier for it.
