Default Beginner's log(grim83's program)

23/11/09

WORKOUT A

Squat
55kg+barx3x5
Bench Press
40kg+barx3x5
Chin Up
3x6
Dumbell Curl
10kgx1x8
10kgx1x6

First workout, went okay.Numbers are crap at the moment but they should come up pretty quick(hopefully).Squatting is very annoying,I think I'm squatting off a bench rack more than anything.I dunno what the bar is,it isn't an olympic bar anyway.

Opps did chin ups instead of barbell row.Should I do chin ups for my next session again.

Don't worry about the numbers. You're starting with much better numbers then I did. Keep hitting it hard!

Nice to see the log Denis. Don't worry about your numbers. The only thing you will get at this site is encouragement. There is always somebody bigger and stronger, there are people below you.

Just follow the plan, and have fun. You will be amazed at what you can accomplish in a relatively short time frame.

Good luck.

Yep, starting #'s are just for you to look back on. You won't find anyone poking fun at that....at least not for long I'll be watching your log. Like M&B and GL said, have fun and hit it hard!

Good to see somebody else on Grim's routine and good luck with your training. It is a very good routine and I have been using it for about 2 months!

EDIT: To answer your question, should you do chinups again for your B routine, I would say ya do them again and then go back to barbell row on friday which is A.
