Thanks guys. It was nice to get that lift to a PR. Gave me some confidence in what I'm doing.

I hadn't done CGBP in a long time before the last few weeks so I'm finding out I'm more capable on that lift that I first thought. I always have a tendency to start light.

Usually I don't post up my off day cardio workouts but I had a cool one today. Didn't have time to hit the gym so I was planning on jumping rope after my kids went to bed. When I took them to the park I saw a pretty steep hill that we sled on during the winter, probably about 35 yards. The kids went to the park and I ran hill sprints, half of them with my 2 year old son on my back, he had a blast and my legs are on fire.

C1W4D1 - DELOAD WEEK

Was going to skip the deload week, then I started noticing my core was still sore from Monday and other little knicks and knacks. Figured I'd slow myself down and just take the deload and stick with the program

Deadlifts
WU: 5x135, 5x155, 3x185

I think deloads are smart if your feeling banged up. A tip about deloads, take it or leave it, your mileage may vary. I don't like to completely deload any more, I always felt a little weaker coming off a week without much effort. I still use the deload percentages but I do a set of 10 reps instead of just 5. It's much lower intensity but the volume is increased, so you are still getting good stimulation but not overloading the CNS. Just thought I'd throw it out there.
