They are some great people. 5 young children (oldest is 7) and they are always the first to help everyone else out. I was more than happy to do it!

Chest & Tris

Foot hurts, so not much drive at all off the floor on bench. It was OK, matched the reps from last week which I was happy with. I just enjoy being in there and doing this.

Paused Bench: 8,8,8,7 x 225
Inc DB Press: 4x10x60
Dips: 4x8 (can do way more of these, was testing them out here to see how it affected the following)
DB Flyes: 4x10x30
Skullcrushers: 4x8x65

Happy with the result.

Thanks! We all have our bumps and bruises... but the nail through the foot... didnt see that coming.


Thinking I'm going to take the rest of the week off. Today is deadlift day but I don't think I can put that kind of pressure on my foot. It's swollen already from doing chest yesterday... so I think it's better to stay off it for now.

Working with BTB's 52 progression scheme, pretty much a combo 5x5/531 deal where you do a set of 5,4,3,2,AMAP. Is AMAP >= 3 then bump the weight. I love 5x5 but it beats the crap out of me way too much, so I will enjoy this.

Back - Shortened accessory sets to make a work meeting.

Sumo Work Sets: 325x5,4,3,2,5 - increase the weight next time.
BB Row: 3x10x170
Pull Ups: 3x8
VBar Row: 3x10x130
