Another general conditioning/getting back to regular workouts session. My conditioning does disappear quickly without training - doubtless because (a) I don't have a very strong base to start from (b) my age counts against me and (c) I tend to be very inactive when I'm not training - my life is spent in front of the laptop.

The Plan

I now have a detailed and systematic plan for the next few weeks:

1. Go to the gym
2. Lift weights up and down
3. Gradually try to do lift more weight, or add reps, or add sets.

It's all about just getting in there and doing anything at the moment.

Tuesday

Arrived at gym with my head exploding with the father and mother of a headache. From work, of course. However, I still got some useful work done. My poundages are creeping back up, though 308 on deadlifts feels at least a hundred pounds heavier at the moment..
