Thanks, OHDL

Sunday

Deadlifts still sucky today. Had the opportunity to train with someone else, so tried a few squats. Suffering outrageous DOMS as a result.

220 (485) X 3
225 (495) X 3

Squats

100 (221) X 5
140 (308) X 3
160 (353) X 2
170 (375) X 2
180 (398) X 1
185 (409) X 1

Front squats

100 (221) X 5
120 (265) X 5
140 (308) X 1
150 (331) X 1

Thanks guys.

Iain, yes thanks, Xmas just sort of happens around me while I'm just filled with bliss that I'm not at work.

Tuesday

No benching today. It must be watching the World's Strongest Man.

Military Press

Creeping upwards.

60 (132) x 3
70 (154) x 2
80 (176) x 3
82.5 (181) x 3

87.5 (192) x 1
90 (198) x 1
70 (154) x 8
70 (154) x 6

DB laterals

Just some light ones to try to get some blood into a dodgy shoulder

10 (22) x 10
10 (22) x 10
10 (22) x 10

Barbell rows

I'm rubbish at these, but thought I'd give them a go. My hamstring was cramping up from Sunday's session.

60 (132) X 10
70 (154) X 10
80 (176) X 10
90 (200) X 8
100 (221) X 6

Fat grip pull-ups- parallel grip

Friday

Legs cramping on the warm-up sets today which was weird. I'm not in love with lower-body at the moment.

Squats

100 (221) X 5
140 (308) X 3
160 (353) X 1
182.5 (403) X 2
187.5 (414) X 1
160 (353) X 5

Deadlift off stands

Never tried these before. They feel miles more natural more than rack pulls, which is weird as it's a very similar movement. The stands are about 5". Predictably, I'm no stronger on these than I am off the floor - I'm rubbish at partial range movements. But an interesting departure.

60 (132) X 5
110 (242) X 5
160 (353) X 5
210 (464) X 4
220 (485) X 4
230 (507) X 2

I could take a pic. They're just little cast iron platforms someone has welded together.

Wednesday

Minimalist workout. Not too strong on bench today. Diet's been lousy this week (after breaking a tooth, I had some problems eating until I got to the dentist). Rows weren't bad.

Bench press

100 (221) x 2
120 (265) x 2
130 (286) X 5
130 (286) X 5
130 (286) X 5
130 (286) X 4
130 (286) X 3

Bent over rows

I did these with really good form; I'm trying hard to keep at 90 degrees to the floor to give my lower back and hammies some work.

60 (132) X 10
80 (176) X 10
90 (198) X 10
100 (221) X 8
100 (221) X 8
100 (221) X 7

Overhead Press

Wiped myself out on the 90 X 2

60 (132) X 2
70 (154) X 2
80 (176) X 2
90 (198) X 2
80 (176) X 5

Standing DB Press

32 (70s) X 8

60
