Thanks guys!

Monday

Not a bad session today. My strength has gone up again on bench press. I'm topping out on pull-ups and horizontal pull-ups and might need to change my routine on those. Still, pleased with using bodyweight + 15kg. Overhead press was a bit weak, and I had nothing left for curls - it felt like my tendons were coming off the bone.

Bench press

Warm ups
100 (221) X 3
120 (265) X 2
130 (286) X 4
130 (286) X 4
130 (286) X 4
100 (221) X 12

Neutral-grip pull ups - rest pause

Main set with weight, then weight off for rest-pause reps

Bodyweight + 15 (33) x 6 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 2

Horizontal pull ups - rest pause

Main set with weight, then weight off for rest-pause reps

Bodyweight + 15 (33) on chest X 7 + 4 + 3 + 3 + 2

Overhead Press

Warm-ups
70 (154) X 8
70 (154) X 7
70 (154) X 6
70 (154) X 3 argh

Seated incline DB curls

26 (57) X 4
26 (57) X 4
26 (57) X 3
22 (48) X 6

Tri pushdowns, with right elbow making noises like bubble-pack being popped

Two sets

In 1983, just after A Team was cancelled, a bored George was doing pushups to entertain the crowd in an underground disco when he decided to add in verse as well. It being late in the set, as he tired his his words jumbled together in between reps almost to the beat of the jarring music. This is widely considered the birth of Rap music. Later, when George heard a sample of the genre he had created, he attempted to remove his own eyes with a spoon in penance to the entertainment of the crowd.

Good stuff, Tann! Nice squats and deads! And if that's a weak press, I'll take it! Cheers!

Ha! If George invented rap, no penance is too great. a pox on his house, yea and to the seventh generation.
