I hope I made a good impression. Only once did I ask to do less weight, they said no and I pressed it anyways so that was good

Some further thoughts on yesterday's session:

I have felt sick for the past 24 hours following the session. I think this is a combination of me already being a little sick, my CNS falling over from the really heavy weights and the fact that I trained for 3 hours and didn't eat anything except the Haribo (candy) that someone had knocking around. I went fully hypoglycaemic and felt sick so couldn't eat to recover which sucked. Feel better now and strapping on the feedbag.

Raw strength is good but I also need the top end overload work for triceps. The Darkside guys are strong believers in overloading with partial ROM so that when you go full. ROM the weights feel really light in your hands. For me this will mean more reverse band N accommodating resistance work.

Volume - They took longer but they did more. This hurt but is something I need to keep pushing.

All in all a great experience and I will be back with them ASAP. Next time will be squat day.
