Decent session tonight. Difference between last week's squats with the cambered bar was night and day; the 170 was so fast and I did it with no wraps and no sleeves. That is then most I've done in 2 years with bare knees. The weights weren't really heavy enough to bury but I feel like I fought reasonably well to get down. Forearms felt great but need to keep working on that and force my grip narrower to stay more upright. Overall that's not that bad for the first time in gear in 3 or 4 weeks and first time even over 180kgs as well.


Volume bench on Thursday now. More floor pressing, this time with the Slingshot. House move is looking likely to be set for the end of the month so I'll have around 5-6 weeks to peak for Push/Pull in December. Even though I'm using that as a test/stepping stone for bigger things next year, I still want to put up some good numbers. I'm through the mid-cycle blues now and feeling ready for war. 2 weeks 'til the boxes are emptied and it gets serious.
