Dear bbod, how much weight do you recommend adding to my bench when im ready to move up, im at 225x12 and i wanna go back to 6-8 reps. I tried adding 20 pounds a couple weeks ago and i think it was too much? Should i just go up 5lbs at a time now that im at a somewhat higher weights?

Default Lighter but bigger

Hey BBOD I am a 17 year old who's been lifting for 2 years now and has put on 30 pounds of lean mass in this time frame.
However Although I am considerably larger than most of my friends and assumed to weigh significantly more than they do, when On the scales most if not all of them weigh more than me.
Does this have anything to do with a lighter bone structure?

I would go to 230 next week, 235 the week after and see what happens.

What is your height and weight?

Weight in and of itself is meaningless. There are flabby 180 pound guys, and jacked 180 pound guys. Body composition is most important.

Hey BBOD love your youtube videos. I had a question about the behind the neck press. Do you think it's more effective then the front press for developing the middle delts? I've read so many different things on it being dangerous and wondered if it's worth including.
