This morning for whatever reason I woke up and my right ankle was swollen to about double the size as normal. I do have a lot of ankle issues from the marine corps, I have had surgery on it in the past. But this has never happened.

Last night I felt fine, was walking like normal until 11 when I went to bed. I woke up around 2am to piss and my ankle hurt so bad I couldn't put more than 10% body weight on it. At first I thought it might have been a spider bite but there are no bite marks anywhere, so I'm just gonna chaulk it up to awesome leg drive in the bench and a shitty ankle.

Heading into the gym this afternoon to compress the shit out of it and band traction. We will see if I am able to squat Wednesday.

nope never had any issues while squatting. it is a very strange thing. I went to the doctor today and they did an x-ray and tested for gout. i should hear back tomorrow the results.

Today went to the doctors for the ankle. They took blood to test for gout and they did xrays to see if there are new bone spurs, or maybe one broke loose and is floating around causing havoc. nonetheless it isnt going to keep me from squatting.

warm up

Notes: felt awesome and strong, I wanted to stay un-equiped today (aka no briefs) because i dont like doing the Thompson style squats with any gear on, plus Donnie suggests to do it un-equipped and save the briefs/suit for the heavy days.

Tomorrow is an off day, Friday I will be doing DE upper along with shoulder work.

We were actually talking about Dave yesterday. Jon said he would love to make a trip down and train, I just told him I don't think he could handle Dave. hahaha
