Default 8x8 training

can you do a lean bulk diet on this training program ? or is it a mass diet ?

Default

Sets and reps don't really matter. Weight training period will get you bigger and stronger. Diet alone will dictate your body composition.

Agree...

I define a lean bulk or cutting program as one you can do while your energy is diminished from a calorie deficit.

That said, if you're reducing calories to lose weight, you can use a slightly lighter version of any program and just monitor your recovery as you go.

8x8 is great. Would not hesitate to throw in a week of heavy weights in the 3-5 rep range once in a while though.
