Yea we had some wacky weather and some training exercises today. Skipped a bit of my lounging time and made sure to get some work done. Then again, so did most of the base from how packed it was today. Lines for everything.

Supposedly squadron pt is cancelled tomorrow and we have having a BBQ. Sounds good to me.

You know you're a rigger when you have forearms bigger than your legs. Tacked and packed my first parachute today. Let me tell you, that shit is hard. My hands are pretty tore up from fighting the locking loops and grommets. Took all day to get that bad boy all set to go. My hands are a bit too raw to do lifts today. Also never jam the sewing needle into your thumb. They are big and not often cleaned.

Tomorrow The plan is shoulders. Mostly in the form of overhead presses.

Got a bit off track today with my workout. Was scheduled to do shoulders.

Warmed up with a 1x12 of 65lbs seated overhead presses with fat gripz.
5x5 85lbs seated overhead presses
3x10 dips
After that I got off track and went to arms. Decided I wasnt going to let a silly parachute stop me.
5x5 cable tricep pull downs at 65lbs
5x5 laying 40lbs barbell skull crushers
3x5 30lbs fat grip wrist curls
3x3 75lbs preacher curls with fat grips
3x10 25lbs side delt raises
3x10 fat grip 50lbs barbell curls

after that the fitness center announced that they were closing and I realized I got way off track. Back to the dorm for pullups to failure.

Today was more of an exercise in fortitude than anything else. Couldn't for the life of me fall asleep last night. Then at 4am we had a fire drill. Around 0430 we find out its a health and wellness check (drug/contraband raid). We live in this squadron, but are not a part of it, so we got to go back to our rooms. Couldn't get to sleep with the sounds of banging and yelling (likely some people had things they shouldn't have). So sleep got left out of the picture for most of the night.

Today we were treated to packing parachutes again, though the buildings heat was cranked waaaaay up. 8 hours of a duty day sweating profusely while haphazardly trying to navigate a technical order.

For squadron pt we waited for half an hour on a flight line infested with sand fleas. Then we did 40 burpees followed by 125 air squats.

Havent had a day this fun since Basic.

nice work in here, AF. some decent side details too hah!
noticed a couple workouts ago, you used more weight on inclines than flat bench. are you stronger in incline bench?
