Default Clogged sink

My kitchen sink just clogged up and no water is going down. No grease got poured down it that I know of. Any methods that you use to unclog sinks. Home remedies that I might have on hand? We are having some very icy weather and I can not get out to get any draino

Vinegar, soda and hot water - There's a method to it, so you can't pour the entire thing in at once. Search it on youtube.

Pull all the standing water out of the sink.
Get a small bucket that will fit underneath the P trap.
The bucket should be big enough to catch the remaining water.
Put the bucket under the P trap.
Pull the P trap apart and clear out the blockage.
Put the P trap back together, and run some hot water.
