C3W1
Press
55x5 70x5 85x3 90x5 105x5 120x5+
120x9

Push press
120x5/5/5

BTNP
80x8/8/8/5 45x16

Lateral raises shrugs and curls.

Did something to my shoulder. Pressing doesn't bother it but normal movements do. Took it pretty easy besides first 3 movements.

Using this..

"Signs and symptoms. Typically, a person with a rotator cuff injury feels pain over the deltoid muscle at the top and outer side of the shoulder, especially when the arm is raised or extended out from the side of the body. Motions like those involved in getting dressed can be painful. The shoulder may feel weak, especially when trying to lift the arm into a horizontal position. A person may also feel or hear a click or pop when the shoulder is moved. Pain or weakness on outward or inward rotation of the arm may indicate a tear in a rotator cuff tendon. The patient also feels pain when lowering the arm to the side after the shoulder is moved backward and the arm is raised."

I felt popping and discomfort followed by a cold burning feeling in the front delt and between rear and side delt. This put me into a terrible cold sweat and endorphin rush that lasted a good while. After some food and ibuprofen I feel alot better. Now mind you I did that crazy shoulder workout yesterday and then proceeded to do a motion that put a lot of strain on my rotator cuff. I think there are a couple of things contributing to this tweak. Introduction of btnpressing, and the initial incident, (clean and pressing 135 with 0 shoulder warmup.) The C+P was on Thursday, initial sore shoulder Friday, no soreness Saturday, shoulder training Saturday, Sunday starts day after training soreness followed by straining rotator cuff trying to troubleshoot shoulder. I think my course of action will be ibuprofen & shoulder rest for a week, and no more btnp going forward. Go to Dr. maybe.

Edit: will go see a Dr., I'll just ignore him when he says no heavy lifting blah blah. I only listen to sports physicians when it comes to lifting or not.

Sounds like a well thought out plan Fen. However, if I was you, I'd go see a Doc just in case in the meantime.

Hope the shoulder feels better bro, I'm interested to hear what the doctor says. You sound just like me straining it further "troubleshooting" the injury. I always troubleshoot mine as well.
