Squats yesterday and moving a gun safe...

went like this, started warming up on squats then buddy asks if we can help move gun safe.

said gun safe was a "baby" only weighing in at a meager 570lbs...

moved gun safe in house, instant warm up...time to squat!

squats

warm up x 1 million
bar x 20
140x 3
230x 3
280 x 1
320 x 1
430 x 1
500 x 1
550x 0...bar slipped off back, ripped a hole in shirt and me...lol

added knee wraps because getting closer to meet.
530 x 1...ill take that

squat isdefinitely moving in right direction!

Except when it slips off your back!

Very fine squatting, sir.

So did you just pick up the gun safe and squat that for a warm-up?
Those damn things are heavy. Mine is staying if we ever move. Or I'll just call you and Hunterace!

I hope it wasn't your favorite shirt!

Do you not usually wear knee wraps during training, or just closer to meets?

I find I am wearing mine at weights above 315. I need them to stabilize or my knees are all over the place. Like you said before tho, if they are legal at a meet, use them!

So did you move the gun safe solo? I am assuming yes since you are such a beast!

Big time squats and the hope the hole in your shirt was bigger than the hole in your back !!

ehh it was a fav shirt but it's cool, I usually only wear knee sleeves but I wanted to get back in the wraps now that we're closer to the meet. The wraps are fairly new so I'm trying to break them in some!

Hahaha good one rich!! The shirt got the brunt of the load, but it's still a bit sore.
