Great job hittin your short term goals JD! I have done and still occasionally do pull ups as a warm up. However I don't do many! I consider it a main lift, for me, so I hammer it when I'm warmed up! Think it's in the top 2-3 lifts for building a big ole back, for me it's #1!!!

Default End of Week 5 - A sketchy week

This last week was out of sorts, but ended well.

I didn't like the warmup protocol, so I will not post it and will revise it for next week. Doing pull ups earlier as part of warm up was fine, but no better for me.

Deadlifts and Pendlay's were really good. The pressing felt heavy but still solid.

Thanks, bro. Pull ups have been huge for me, plus they play a big role in bench, DL, etc. so they are worth the effort.

Default Week Six - some tweaks to the routine

Modified the WO slightly...more structured warm-up and less reps at the top end. Plus, adding some weighted ab work.

Felt good overall despite some back tightness going in.
