Real Results 4-day Upper/Lower
W38 D2 Tuesday

Weight x Reps x Sets

Squat
Bar x 10
135 x 5 paused
185 x 3 paused
225 x 2 paused
275 x 1 paused
305 x 1
335 x 1
355 x 1
370 x 1 30lb gym PR, 1lb all time PR haha vid
340 x 3 x 3 +5lbs
Plan was to work up to a couple heavy singles over my work sets, then drop back down and they would feel lighter. Haha well it was a good theory, but didn't really pan out in real life.
Critiques are welcome. I know I came forward a little at the bottom but was happy to stand up with it. Hopefully depth was legal, but not the greatest angle.

Low rack pulls
135 x 5
225 x 3
315 x 2
405 x 1
Put on versa-gripps
455 x 5 x 3 +10lbs
10 second hold on last rep

Ab wheel
BW x 20 x 3

Standing calf raise (smith machine not including bar)
265 x 15 x 3 +10lbs

Good squat. My guess is that your knees are too far forward. Hard to tell from that angle, but everything else looks good.

Depth looked good Rich - but too hard to say for sure based on angle and wearing loose shorts. That is why I wear compression gear on squat day.

If you notice, bar path begins a steady angle forward right from the start of the squat. I think its a matter of breaking at the hips first and upper back tightness. I do not break at hips first. I sort of begin my descent all in one fluid synchronous motion. I thought your back needed to be tighter.

With that said, congratz on a big squat!! 405 will come this year - I promise!! I was also impressed with the speed of it.

Some of us can't afford matching designer outfits for every day of the week Jimbro hahaha

I am not trying to break at the hips first. I thought I had broken that bad habit. Guess it's a good thing to take a vid every now and then to make sure we are not getting inito bad habits. Thanks for the critique!
