Real strong benching. 385 could have been paused. It looked like it just flew up. I think there is some carryover from the bench daddy.

My bday and xmas are coming. Bench daddy/slingshot might have to be at the top of my list this year!

Thanks DZ I was surprised that 385 did not feel scary heavy at all! That alone gives me the confidence to grind out lighter raw lifts that in the past I would have given up on.

Not sure what a slingshot costs, but the bench daddy is like $50. No need to wait on a special occasion to add that tool to your chest

Dang it these felt heavy. Tried the first set with a belt and absolutely did not like the feel at all. Even though I got all the reps I wasn't really happy with them, so think I will leave the weight here next week.

High rack pulls (mid knee)
135 x 5
225 x 3
315 x 3
405 x 1 O/U
455 x 1 O/U
Put on the versa gripps
525 x 5 x 3 +10lbs
First set felt a little rough, but the last two felt pretty solid

Kneeling cable crunch
200 x 15 x 3

Seated calf raise
140 x 15 x 3 +5lbs

I think you should still add 5 lbs next week. They may feel heavy all the time from this point because they are Anthing else specifically you were not happy with?

Did you hog all the plates in the gym on those heavy rack pulls?

The squats just did not feel "good" "in the groove" "smooth" whatever lol. I'll add 5lbs next week so it's the round number of 300 and take a vid to see if they look better than they feel haha!

There were still a few plates left laying around in the corners but not a lot of room left on the bar for them. I did have a couple of guys volunteer to stand on the ends of the BB if I needed more weight

I have never squatted 295 (yet) so I cannot tell you how heavy it feels....but I will trust thoses guys judgement.....
