Yeah JD us old timers have to try and lift a little smarter than those young pups I am trying to learn that it's not necessary to kill yourself on the accessory lifts.

Thanks Mike! I don't think I called it a bad day. I was actually quite pleased to get the reps I did since I was really struggling with tightness. One of the 275 sets was done on my toes lol If I ever figure out getting up on my lats, holding an arch, and actually reducing my ROM a little bit....

Real Results 4-day Upper/Lower
W14 D2 Tuesday

Squat
275 x 3 x 5
Was feeling the groin all the way through warmups. Did the first triple at normal stance width and it was a bit sqwaky! Went to a pretty narrow stance and was able to get through triples without pain. I may have to adopt this method for a while until I can heal 100%

Low pin rack pulls (mid shin)
All lifts DOH
135 x 5
225 x 3
315 x 3
405 x 2 used mixed grip here
Put on VG's
465 x 3 x 3 +10lbs
Will stay here until I can it 3 sets of 5.

Kneeling cable crunch
200 x 17, 15, 13 haha it was a wash

Seated calf raise
140 x 12, 12, 10 +5lbs
2 second hold on top

Overall I'm happy with the session, just can't believe how long this damn groin is taking to heal!

If you change your stance, etc. try it with safe weights before you count on it...

Glad you can still squat decent weight either way.

I hope you don't need a groin transplant! I imagine it takes longer to heal when your moving some pretty decent iron around.

What the heck is foreplay??? I was squatting my normal stance width. Groin for whatever reason was not liking it so I moved to a narrower stance.

Groin pulls do take their time to heel....had one years ago and it seemed forever till it went away....but anway, pretty strong session Rich.
