11/14/2009: Bench Day

Workout Time: 61 minutes

Workout Grade: A+

My strength was noticeably up today. 265 felt light, and instead of grinding up to 3 reps on one set, I was easily able to move up by one rep on all sets. Next week I will try my heavy bench sets with 275.

Next week I might dump the 30,30,60,60 bench sets and add 2 more lighter 3 rep sets to the 60 second rest benches.

Bench Press - 2 minute rest
265 x 3/3/3/3

Bench Press - 1 minute rest
225 x 4/4/4/4/4/4

Bench Press - 30,30,60,60 minute rest
225 x 9/3/3/3/3

Incline Bench Press - 30,30,60,60 minute rest
200 x 8/3/3/3/3

Close Grip Bench Press - 30,30,60,60 minute rest
200 x 6/3/2(F)/2/2
