DB Fly #50
Cable crunch @ 150

Today went well, still had back pumps for squats, but nothing compared to Friday. Was putting 355 in the hole like I wanted to today. Bench felt good as well, I was happy with the singles at 245, and I think my pausing was getting better as I finished them out.

Puases looked to be too long on the 225 vid and just right on the 245. Good work

Man, you and that squat rack go together like steak & potato. Really sweet to see you burying them as well. There is nothing more satisfying after a squat set than knowing you buried them with decent form to boot.

Nice, thanks Jim! The 245 singles felt good after the 3 doubles. I'm feeling more confident in my bench as I get closer to the meet. I can't argue with you about the squats, I'm absolutely loving them right now. When something like that finally clicks you just want to keep doing it haha.

Great work Randy! Strong work all around! Don't think long pauses are bad, never know how the judge will make you wait! We were told if we went slow and controlled while bringing it down there'd barely be a pause, but if out of control or fast decent, they'd make us pause more! I went slow and he paused me for two seconds ish and I failed my second attempt! So like I said before my long ramble, long pauses are good ! Keep smashing bud!!!

Something to be aware of tho on a long pause - if the bar sinks even slightly into your chest during the pause, you will be red lighted. Man, I can't stand judges who make you pause long while they take too long to decide if everything is good.
