Thanks for the support Steve. I Know that CrossFit isn't exaclty looked highly upon in the different communities. But hopefully my experiences will help show that it isn't all bad.

10.18

This was more a technical/learning day, focusing on different snatch variations. The WOD still got me fatigued though, haha.

Muscle Snatch from the ground

Power Snatch w/ 2 Over Head Squats (OHS)

Every Minute on the Minute (EMOM)
2 Power Snatches + 2 Power Cleans @ 135 lbs
15 minutes

*I need to shoot my hips through better on these lifts. But, it was nice to get some instruction from a olympic lift certified instructor. It didn't hurt that she was extremely good looking as well

**There is a record board at the box, I plan on owning the number 1 spot for the Squat and Deadlift when I get the chance to qualify even though I may be one of the strongest there, I am probably toward the bottom in terms of my overall fitness and physique

Thanks Steve, good luck with whatever you have planned as well.

Weekend was pretty mild, no workouts just a lot of active recovery with some softball yesterday. Gonna hit a long run tonight before my softball game and then it is a nice cruise into the weekend for Tough Mudder.

I am really liking the EMOM's, some can be a real pain though. I didn't have much DOMS yesterday but today I am definitely feeling the burn. Gotta make sure to foam roll before and after tonights session.

^This was supposed to be at 85% but since I haven't done these in such a long time I had no idea where to start. This may have been a tad on the light side but I felt like I was getting the movement down again so it was worth it.

For time:
30 toes to bar
10 squat cleans @ 155 lbs
20 KB Swings @ 70 lbs
10 squat cleans @ 155 lbs
30 toes to bar
Done in 17:25
^I suck a toes to bar, I am not used to the motion and my core sucks so this was a huge struggle. At least I know what I have to work on.
