it works very well if you have little to no experience in lifting. If you can put up decent numbers, you will most likely lose muscle and strength.

It seems to work for those that stick with it; I guess, it's like everything, it suits some but not all...which is obvious by those that got bored of it.

That is pretty extreme but the hard work paid off for you. Good job on your accomplishments. You should be proud.

I did it and rather enjoyed it. I can see where some may get bored with it, but I pushed myself through and forced myself to do it. I am glad that I did.

The plyometrics dvd is pretty good. Only one I actually cared to view.

I had thought about trying it this summer. Then I just started concentrating on my lifting more and did not feel that I needed it. Best of luck to you if you decide to try it out.

I guess the key part is that it is the OP's girflriend that is interested. If she isn't into serious weight training and is interested in getting started then this could be a great fit.

For people just starting out it can be difficult to do some things, but if you can stick with it I have seen that it does help out and can be a good tool to use.

I think that it would not be a waste if she did it daily. Stick to it and nothing is a waste.

just about any program will result in some sort of results as long as you follow the parameters of the program as written, and the nutrition is correct.

would i use p90x? hell no, has nothing to do with my goals.

Would this be good for someone who is just starting out? I have never done any weight lifting or been on an exercise program. I have played sports before on teams and such.
