Default would you Band for DE Board press?

I was thinking about doing Board presses with a mini band, would this be a good idea or no??

Good one for ME work but I would keep your DE work to the chest. Your ME work consist of bench variations so DE day is the day you get to consistently work on your actual bench form.

Rob - You're getting caught up in the minutiae of the system here. Whether you work a low board for speed work or to chest isn't going to make too much difference in the long run. The goal of dynamic day is to work on form and explosive speed and power. Make changes, try stuff out and monitor the results. For me that's what Westside is about: experimenting to find the best exercises for you within their framework.

Haha, yes mate you did

I think Ltl is right, worrying about the particulars may be a bit premature. Do a couple of 3 week cycles of straight DE work first then start to mix it up.

Otherwise how can you compare the speed right?

Ditto....change things up. Change weight/rep scheme, full reps, boards, bands, boards & bands, Ram/Slingshot..... Just switch it up once in a while.

Although I don't pay much attention to the WSB logs, I know Louie has written about different methods to do DE work including boards, reverse bands, floor press etc.

Mark Bell seems a fan also.
