Default Hello

Hi guys! My name is Sandy and I am from Toronto. I have always been pretty lean growing up, gaining and losing a little bit of weight here and there. Last year, I got an office job and was sitting on the computer 8 hours a day. I really did not think much of it, until one day I looked down and realized I had gained a good 15 pounds which all seem to have migrated to my stomach. I am pretty much a noob, but since then I have made it my goal to make fitness and a good diet a part of my life. I don't know much, but I don't want to just be skinny but strong and toned as well. I don't know what else to say but thanks for listening or er reading!

Hello and good afternoon Sandy

I'm a new member here and live in the GTA as well. You're not a nob for your situation you have realized it and have made a decision to take action and be happy with yourself. I'm not qualified to give any advice but reading your introduction it sounds like you have to set a goal for your fitness and diet.
Once that's in place for short term and long term goals it's just a matter of putting in the work and accepting it will not happen over night.
From personal experience the biggest and best thing to do is experiment with your gym time with exercise and poundage and start logging your sessions, create a baseline and record how you feel the following day with fatigue or soreness. Stick to the basics and train hard make your gym time count !! Recording calories is in my opinion very important to ensure you are getting enough nutrients throughout the day, I use (myfitnesspal.com) very easy to use and you can look back on previous meals and intake.

Cheers ,.... Edz
