Default Green Tea Supplements: Do they work?

Do green tea supplements really work to control your appetite and increase your metabolism?

Doesn't really affect appetite. However, it is really good at burning fat. But for the fat burning effects, you need to stack your green tea with caffeine.

just drink green tea, its a lot cheaper and its a good way to hydrate. I do fenugreek and green tea every day.

I have tried green tea supplements and they work to an extent. They aren't that expensive so you could definitely try it and it wont lay a dent in your wallet (5-10 bucks on bb.com). It gave me a mild energy boost when I used it but it is nothing extreme. A lot of people have told me it is good for your immune system and just general health so if it won't give you a direct effect on your workout it will still help keep you healthy.

i go the more "natural" route and just drink a cup of green tea in the am with a freshly squeezed lemon.

Long leaf and buy it loose and brew it up or sun tea. You'll get more benefits from the anti-ox in it more than anything.

Some even eat the leaves (not a lot of the leaf.. but a little)

No amount of Green Tea, will be able to overcome a bad diet. In terms of excess calories (and sometimes a certain macro) when wanting to lose weight. I would be more concerned with learning the basic mechanics of tissues loss, in terms of calories and macros according to your personal particulars, and how to manipulate these according your bodily feedback, than being concerned with how effective Green Tea stimulates the metabolism.

The most effective natural stimulant and metabolism enhancer known to man is:

Correct Personal Diet + Exercise

Learning the basic mechanics of calories and macros and making adjustments and/or corrections in these dietary components as you receive bodily CHANGES (or lack thereof) and FEEDBACK + Adjustments and/or Corrections in Training + Adaptive PATIENCE

Fat didn't accumulate over night and THUS will not come off overnight and this FACT results in: YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT IT.......

The aforementioned is far more powerful and than any green tea (or extract) product on the market.
