Yes, daily. That's Evan - a great guy too. He is always kind enough to wrap my knees. His GF, Allison, who is a member of the crew as well, is lifting at the Arnold this weekend!

Thanks Chris!!I put on my sleeves right after stretching to keep my knees warm. I usually keep them on for most of my warm up sets. Once I am 1 set away from my work sets, I usually put them on, which is usually a set close to 400. The most I have done of late with just knee sleeves on is 405 for a single. LtL and JB told me recently that it is OK to wrap early, and that JB also wraps at about 400 lbs. For us, it's a safety issue. The wraps keep my knees stable so that I can focus on the job at hand and my cues.

The SBD sleeves are a great tool to keep the knees warm and give a bit of bounce out of the hole. The wraps are a safety issue when lifting closer to maxes. I never use the wraps with the mentality "Oh, I can now lift more". Usually, as LtL pointed out to me recently, my self wraps are considered to be loose, and thus do not provide ability to lift more. When Evan on the crew wraps me, they are super tight and likely do provide ability to lift more, but only because my knees are even more stable.

The wraps are legal at my meet. Everyone uses them, so it all relative and no advantage from a competitive point of view.

With that said, pretty much everything I lift these days is a PR in some fashion. 415 for a single was my max on September 15th of 2013. Now I can triple it with relative ease, and a fairly recent Max PR of 465, all with little form breakdown. Impossible to wipe the smile off my face and joy in my soul.

THE BYRDDAWG SESSIONS WEEK 4 DAY 1 OF 4 BRODAY

Wasn't feeling too good throughout tonight's session. I think the reason was I had a very long physical and had alot of blood work done. This put my lunch 2 hours late, which likely contributed to the ill-ish feeling combined with all the blood the vampires took out of me.

One of the tests they do is specifically for inflammation. If it is still normal or better, I may qualify for corrective laser surgery in my left eye. That eye has been lagging behind my right eye, which has fully recovered to 20/20. Besides for Celiac reasons, this is why I put such a huge monumental effort into my diet and being perfectly consistent with it. The Biomat is just the icing on the anti-inflammation cake. I am expecting even better numbers than last time. That's right - I fully expect progression even in my cellular health lol!

Still progressed on everything, but it took a huge effort. Had to skip the core work, but I will try to make it up during each of the 3 sessions left this week.
