That mid/wide stance and wide ass grip is crazy at that weight!!! Wonder if that's just a way of training or if that's how he always pulls(too lazy to look it up). You'd think he could pull even more with regular stance pull, OR wide with hands inside legs grip, regular sumo!

Wider stance is to allow him more room to get down to the bar I believe. You also aren't allowed to pull sumo in strongman.

When I do conventional, it's really hard to do with a close stance. He's a beast though.

That's definitely a different style of pulling, I apparently had never paid close enough attention to how he was pulling until now. But hey you do what works for you, and obviously how he pulls works just fine for him.
