They definitely make it more challenging. However I am noticing the carry over when I warm up with stuff like 10 x 50kg easily and I was pretty impressed with my 8 x 62.5kg x 5 so for me they work very well and I will use them on my working sets from here on.

Felt good and strong today. No more lifting until next week now though as I have a 10km run with obstacles this Saturday called survival of the fittest. Never ran 10km before or done any obstacles so here's hoping I finish the course and get my medal!
