FYI, my friend started here: http://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/

He's using a keto diet by Layne Norton.

He's at about 50g of carbs per day.

Sorry, he's not really available...he's moving cross country in 2 weeks and is super busy.

no problem.

ease into it...reduce carbs over a week or two if you need to as you find the best way to swap for protein and get in a habit of prepping/stocking non-carb foods.

yeah, I think today was decent, I feel I did not have enough Protein, so in the morning I am going to scramble some eggs, with half and half for breakfast, will do a scoop of my Syntha-6 for snack, I made some wings for lunch, and will probably have another shake, and Chilli for dinner. PLEASE anyone and you also JD would love feed back and thoughts.

Sean,

don't know the macros on your diet today, but the choices seem right for keto.

just watch any sauces/condiments for sugar and sweeteners (and sodium).

Well, I had coffee it was black I did use a splenda packet not sure if that is allowed. however I am trying to read and I forget where it said to stay away from veggies like Red peppers, and tomatoes. Need to try and remember that when I get my salad on Wenesday. You mentioned macros I am not real sure what that is and how I would go about figuring it out.
