"RAW IS A PHENOMA OF THE PAST 5-10 YEARS....IT DID NOT EXIST BEFORE THAT.....
I AM NOT SURE WHAT HAS PROPAGATGED IT OTHER THNA GIVE SOME VERY AVERAGE OR BELOW AVERAGE LIFTERS A CHANCE TO WIN A TROPHY OR BREAK SOME RECORD THAT REALLY MEANS NOTHING.....
MOST LIFTERS THAT LIFTED IN THE 60'S AND 70'S WHO USED WHATEVER THEY COULD DREAM UP TO LIFT IN TO HELP THEIR NUMBERS AS WELL AS A SAFETY FACTOR......LIFTED WAY MORE THAN 99% OF TODAY'S SO CALLED RAW LIFTERS SO WHAT HAVE THEY ACCOMPLISHED??????"

If you're struggling with a lift, and understand that you aren't built for it very well, don't look at guys who ARE built for it. Find guys who got strong on those lifts that struggled to do so. They will have a hell of a lot more to offer than a guy that can just thank mom and pop for his squat/bench/pull.

Whats your favourite method of strength training?

I've been reading lots of different programmes and quick fix solutions online and while there's some good solid information out there, unfortunately a lot of it is BS.
Training is training.
When I was starting out I tried different programmes until I found a way that worked best for me. Even now I sometimes take my training in completely different directions depending on what it is I'm training for and what my current goals are.
I tried not to get too caught up in the latest fads as normally they are forms of training that have been around for years that have been renamed and rebranded time and time again.

An understanding of your body, consistency, planning, realistic goals and hard work are what count.

Your love for what you do and willingness to push yourself where others aren't prepared to go is what will make you great.

"If your family was captured and you were told you needed to put 100 pounds onto your max squat within two months or your family would be executed, would you squat once per week? Something tells me that you'd start squatting every day." --John Broz
