Default stockdocs new start

DayA of M&B full body workout.Sorry guys but it will be in kg rather then lbs.
Squat:warm up: 20kgx10,60kgx8
80kgx6/80kgx6/80kgx6
Bench press:warm up:20kgx10,60kgx8
70kgx6/70kgx6/70kgx6
DB rows:2 sets of 8 with 24kg
Upright rows:2 sets of 8 with 30kg
Overhead Tri.Extensions:2 sets of 8 with 24 kg
To finish some abs and lower back hyperextensions.
My present weight is 85 kg for 172cm height.
Not sure if this is the place to ask some questions about it but here I go anyway:
The plan is to follow this workout(Day A and day B) but only train on wednesdays and saturdays rather then 3 times a week.As I'm 51 I reckon I need some more recovery time anyway. To get maximum results should I maybe increase the reps or should I train to failure? The weights I used today are about 60procent of my maxes. Anyway it felt great today and maybe I should take it ease the first few months. Thanks for any comments

Red face

Guess I found the answer to my own questions allready,my body is a pretty convincing advisor.Walking the stairs like an 80 year old, stumbling around at work...but hey,I just love that sh..!I think there's no need to increase sets nor reps for the moment,I'll just stick to the original plan,I've only made my first step back into the gym anyway.

Yeah, that'll get you every time; I had that, where I needed to gingerly walk down our stairs sideways on because the legs were too painful to move the right way...hubby thought it was hilarious, which I guess it was to watch and it was sort of funny aside from the intense DOMS.

That's the best approach. Build slowly.
