Thanks, guys. And thanks Mike, for dropping in again. Appreciated, mate.

And Nath, I agree! In fact, I always thought the All Blacks kicked ass, when I used to watch Rugby with my dad, way back. Don't watch much sport now, but you guys play some great games, for sure.

Day 4 was meant to be Friday, but it had to be today (Saturday). Never mind; it went alright.

I don't think you're meant to combine Rule of 10 with Rule of 50. Or there's nothing about doing that, really. Oops. So I'll be doing Jokers in place of. That's all. Everything else is exactly the same. Just means, if I'm feeling strong, I can get a few heavier reps in here and there. Otherwise, just go for the "+" set, and done.

C1W1D4

Squat: 85kg/187lb x 5, 97.5kg/214.5lb x 5, 110kg/242lb x 5 (5+)
Joker Sets: 120kg/264lb x 5, 130kg/286lb x 1, 140kg/308lb x 1

Deadlift: 111kg/244.2lb x 10,10,10,10,10 (rule of 50)

DB Shrug: [2 x 46.2kg/101.6lb] x 12,12,12,12 (wif dat squeeeeze)

Hamstring Curl Machine: 12,12,12,12

Might consider lowering that squat training max. Not much room to grow with minimum set number.

I see exactly what you mean, and I was thinking the same thing, briefly. But I already lowered it to start with a fair bit, which is depressing enough as it is. :/

Maybe it was just how I felt today...?

Also, what strength I did have might start coming back (more), hopefully.

Got 155kg/341lb (for a single) not so long ago, after all. Sure, all I could get today was 1 x 140kg/308lb, but again, it might be a matter of getting back into it. I hope...

Mate, you cant agree with me on our respective country's sports teams, it wouldn't be rite . New Zealand Vs Australia in anything is a battle of the titans, Sworn Enemies on the sports fields . In saying that though, when Aussie is playing anybody but NZ, we are always backing yous fallahs , ANZAC and all that I guess. Great Squatting and Deads as-well mate. Those high rep deads do weird things to my legs

Thanks, Nath. Yep, "enemies" but not. Heh.

Your legs, you say? Uh yeah. That and the lower back, and hips as well...

:/ "It's worth it" ... "It's worth it" ...

Gotta keep saying it.

On that note, the hamstring curl machine has absolutely hammered my hammies. Damn. Sore all of today. A bit of walking has helped with all of it though. Should be fine by tomorrow (which is press and light bench day).

Thinking about trying the leg extension one on Tuesday, but I hear different opinions on that. Hm.
